Corporate

When do I need to book my buffet?
As soon as you can. We do have a maximum number of events per day that we can serve, so to assure that we will be available on your event date, please book as far in advance as possible. To hold your date, we require a non-refundable deposit. Please note: The minimum lead time we require is 2 weeks for normal pricing. If your event is sooner, please contact us for rush pricing.
What information do you need?
We will need to know the number of guests attending your event. This allows us to order the appropriate amount of candies. If you are unsure how many guests will attend, please contact us and we will help you estimate.
How much candy do you provide?
We generally plan for ½ cup per guest. We can provide more depending on your event needs.
What will the display look like?
We will create a custom look to match your event. For example, a vintage golf candy display for a golf tournament. Or an all-red-and-white candy display to match your corporate colors. Let us know if you have something in mind or ask for a free consultation and we can design something special for you. All of our designs are exceptional and deliciously eye-catching. The design or consultation is included in the price, so contact us today!
How will you set it up?
Before your event starts, we will arrive with a crew to set up your display. We will bring tables, table cloths, decorations, candy jars, scoops, bags, labels, and the candy. One of our attendants can stay with your display throughout your event to assist your guests should they have questions. After the event is over, our crew will tear down the display and package any leftover candy for you.
What other touches make your buffets special?

We create a custom design for the candy bags your guests will take with them. This leaves them with a lasting impression of your event. We can print your corporate logo on the bags or create any look you desire. Every event is different—ask us for a recommendation. Some of our favorites can be seen here.

We also create custom candy labels and signage for each container. This is helpful for guests who may have allergies and also brings a beautiful feel to the display.

Can't I do this myself?
A Lucky Ethan buffet lets you have all of the fun with none of the hassle! You get to choose your candy and style (we can help with this too, if you like), and leave the set up to us.

Many people do not realize until it is too late how much time, money, and work is involved in a quality candy buffet. You must calculate the correct amount of candy to serve, purchase the candy, acquire adequate food-safe jars or containers, wash and sanitize them, create a compelling design (this is often the hardest part of the DIY buffet, and if not done well, results in disappointment after all that hard work), purchase the correct scoop or ladle for each jar (the wrong scoop can cause jars to slide or break), create signage, purchase the correct size bags (bags that are too large allow guests to take too much candy, throwing off your numbers. Too small and guests will be frustrated.) Plus you need the right size of table(s) so that the display does not look empty or overcrowded, and you must purchase decor to add visual interest. You would also need to hire someone to assist your guests in case they have questions or need help (guests with disabilities, children, guests with allergies or dietary restrictions, etc.), and to keep the table looking neat throughout the evening. Then there is the time/labor of the actual setup and tear-down...

At Lucky Ethan, we have experience on our side and can do all this at a lower cost. We have all of the supplies at our disposal and wholesale costs. This results in you saving time and money, and you get a professional and spectacular display to show for it.

What if my buffet runs out of candy?

The goal of your candy buffet is to be empty by the end of the evening, with each guest carrying a small amount home. We will set up the display with all of the candy purchased for your event for visual impact. Naturally some candies might be more popular than others, so these may run out, while you will have extra of other types. Not to worry! The selection is so large that it won't begin to empty until near the end of the event, and most guests will not even notice. The vast majority will have plenty of choices. We also have experience with which candies go first, so we plan accordingly in order to keep your buffet as full as possible through the course of your event.

If you would like an “endless” candy buffet, we will continuously refill your candy jars throughout your event. This ensures that every guest will have the same selection. There is a surcharge for this type of buffet, but it is not as much as you might think. Please contact us for pricing.

Can you do other things besides candy?
Yes! While candy is our most popular, we can create spectacular cookie & milk buffets, popcorn buffets, trail mix buffets, pretzel buffets, or any combination you wish. We can also do a “one-candy” theme such as a chocolate buffet, salt water taffy buffet, etc.
